Willow and Xander get possessed. Japanese mythology comes to Sunnydale. There is a fight to the death and Angel plays a significant role for the first time in a BTVS book. Still Cordelia-lite though. The violence and gore quotient gets ratched up a notch. Sadly Whiny!Willow makes her novel debut here and she hasn't departed yet. Good.
