The plot combines teen homelessness and The Wild Hunt (a nasty German myth). Joyce acts mega-annoying and another previous slayer Lucy Hanover gets mentioned. Hanover will show up a lot in future novels. She's like super!slayer. Cordelia features a lot. Good.
