A set of tales on the Winter Solstice aka the longest night of the year, and what a nigh it is. Based in the third season these are supposed to be the one night, but cannot be. Still the stories are good.

6pm - THE HOUSE WHERE DEATH STOOD STILL
A quest for a missing child taken by the father leads Angel to a house where the father has made a pact. In return for a human sacrifice each solstice both father and sun could live forever.

7pm - A JOYFUL NOISE
A group is killing Santas and replacing them with their own people so that the sound of their bells can open a rift in space-time and allow a demon eat to eat the Earth.

8pm - I STILL BELIEVE
Angel needs help from Cordelia, 4 days before Christmas and he still hasn't done his shopping. But he really is planning a surprise gift for her.

9pm - IT CAN HAPPEN TO YOU
Wesley meets two ghosts from the early Hollywood era who lead him to a better understanding of his life.

10pm - MODEL BEHAVIOUR
Cordelia is invited to become a model, but there is a catch.

11pm - HAVE GUNN, WILL TRAVEL
Gunn is hired to act as a body double for a prince, pity they don't realise he's a djinn.

12am - GENEROUS PRESENCE
Lilah sends Christmas presents to all, but of course she is not playing nice. Mind you the ending is one of the nicest I have come across.

1am - THE ANCHORESS
A group of wannabe Druids builds a stone circle to sacrifice a virgin.

2am - BUMMED OUT
Something is killing the down and outs, and Angel and Co go undercover to save the day (or night in this case).

3am - ICICLE MEMORIES
An Ice demon shows up in the hotel, and plays with their memories.

4am - YOKE OF THE SOUL
Christmas carollers are being taken to be hosts by a demon race. After freeing the singers and defeating the demons, Angel feels like singing - and does.

5am - THE SUN CHILD
The creatures of the night are trying to prevent the new day from starting, and only Angel can ensure the new dawn.

As I said, good stories, Enjoy.
