A 5 part miniseries which could be described as a mix of 'Twin Peaks', 'Touched by an Angel' and 'Kill Bill'.

Issue 1: Homecoming
Helen who may or may not be an Angel returns to her home town of Hope Falls.
20 years ago she was brutally murdered by four schoolmates and now she wants revenge. But who is the mysterious man who calls himself Mike who is following her? How has Helen returned after her death? What happened 20 years ago?
This is a good, intriguing start. The storyline and central mysterious are attention grabbers. Plus the character of Helen intrigues, she is driven by righteous rage and has to deal with the fact that nobody knows or cares that she was murdered. These plus factors overcome the somewhat amateurish looking artwork. I will be reading the next four issues to find out more about Hope Falls and Helen.
Good, recommendation to buy.

Issue 2: ?????

Issue 3: ?????

Issue 4: Resurrection Blues
Helen wasn't murdered. She was sacrificed And she's about to find out just what and who was behind it. This was a good issue with a dramatic twist that owes more than a bit to 'Holy Blood, Holy Grail'. Anyway that dramatic revelation changes things as Helen faces down someone with powers to match her own. Good.

Issue 5: Revelations: End Game
The dramatic conclusion as it is revealed why Helen became an angel, Helen reveals a twisted plan and Archangel Michael hands out vengeance on an epic scale. But then there is a bitter twist in the tale that makes you look at the story in a new light. Good. This 5 part series is recommended for fans of horror comics like 'The Sisterhood', 'Everybody's Dead' and 'Salem: Queen of Thorns'
