With the horror genre undergoing a revival, you need to see films like this to understand why the genre was almost destroyed in the first place. This is a bad movie. It's set on a college campus where drunken frat boys are holding 'rush week' while various female college students are vanishing.
Some madman in a black cloak wielding a really big axe is wandering around campus killing people and somehow nobody manages to notice. A female reporter learns that the missing students were making money on the side by posing for porno photos and thinks the sleazoid photographer is behind it.
But besides the perv photographer, there is a whole rake of suspects. Like who is buying the photos of bimbo's posing like cadavers from the medical school? Eeewww. And the reporter is being romanced by the head of the sleaziest Fraternity on campus who happens to have a great big axe in his room then there is the fanatically conservative Dean.
Basically we have a few murders, the idiot reporter getting into the most suicidal situations to catch the killer and lots and lots of idiot Frat boy pranks. This is a stupid movie without a single redeeming feature.
One question is never answered, how did these morons get into college in the first place?
