A low budget movie probably made for less money than it cost to make the 'Transformers' trailer. Anyway this movie sees an LA couple - Brad and Lex- caught up in a dirty bomb attack on LA.
Brad seals himself up his home with the neighbour's gardener. He thinks Lexi is dead and all the two men have to go on are terrified radio accounts of rioting, death and disaster. The poisonous ash starts falling in a striking image and then Lexi arrives home begging to be let in.
With nothing but radio accounts, fanatic phone calls and gossip from other survivors to go, they try to figure out what to do.
The movie is advertised as having "A TWIST YOU WON'T SEE COMING", but the twist is nothing huge just a simple bitter twist of fate.
This is a good movie. Scary and sadly plausible:
This is good stuff but one has to wonder about Brad's seemingly endless supply of duct tape and plastic sheeting.
